[The Beginning]
Starting new game, you start at the golden skies like area which giving a calming vibe as if trying to lower your guard for the sudden QTE so don't hammer the dialogue box or you will see game over screen right off bat.
The choices you pick doesn't really matter just don't ignore the almighty Zukan with "..." or he will send you to another game over screen again, this game seriously want you to see it's crappy game over screen so bad.
After that you will find yourself in a house, and at the near end of scene chose "Fight" for your own good, once you regain control of your character, go to red treasure chest at the corner of the house and take equipment there, do it two times, the first is to take Short Sword and Hide Armor and the second is to take the Corruption (Sword), equip the Corruption and leave the house from the front entrance which located at south (bottom of the screen).
After short scene you will be at Ilya Village, head to west to a big building where there's wounded soldiers lying around, you also can check bushes around for item, once you are ready head inside and talk to the enemy to start your first battle, at the battle there will be rather long scene while the battle itself are no big deal.
After the battle there will be another scene, after the said scene you will get Accessory Lunchbox, few potions, and key items, then head out from the building and head to east to the entrance of the village which is blocked by soldiers earlier to leave the village, the world map will open once you leave the village, choose Tsugi Castle from the map screen and you will be taken there.
At Tsugi castle talk to the Knight who blocked the entrance, after the scene leave the castle and head to Tsugi City from the world map, at the Tsugi city head to the PUB located near central, after the scene head to the Magic Guild next to it and talk to Mai for extra starter cash, by now you should have around 810 Ruu.
You may want to wander around Tsugi City and check barrel, pot, etc. for extra item but mostly for Earth Xstal, there should be around 9 at the city, either way I suggested you to head to Blacksmith Workshop located at the north of the city just head straight up from central.
At the workshop talk to the old man (Empu Geyeg) and he will give you Power Hammer which is needed for blacksmithing and Blueprint Tabar which allow you to make Tabar Axe, you won't be able to make one for now so let's continue and head to INN which located at the west of central, to rest? NO! there are NPC marked with Cute Girl located at the second floor of the INN, this "Cute Girl" apparently had a Sub Quest for you, accept it since it easy enough, once you done with whatever you have to do just don't spend too much money on supplies, head out from the city by entrance which located at the south to open the world map, sure you can just skip my suggestion above but the battle ahead will be ridiculously hard if you're planning to fight the mobs with Short Sword which is garbage.
By now new areas are unlocked and that's Fox Ruin and Primo Woods, Fox Ruin are filled with Level 10 enemies while path at Primo Woods were blocked by logs, for now let's head back to Ilya Village and head to small farm located at the west of the village, talk to the old man there to get key item Saw which is needed to clear the logs at the Primo Woods as well as your starter skills Devil's Cut and don't forget to check the bushes for Earth Xstal, after you done, go back to village and check the pot near Item Shop for the Green Bag which located very close to where you just come from, after that head out from the village.
Note that, the Green Bag won't be there unless you had accepted the Quest first, same for other quests meaning you can't clear quest objective before accepting the quest.
Next, go to Fox Ruin... no, I'm no kidding, it's true that enemies around here (Lv 10 Assassin) can pretty much murder you (Lv1 Lumberjack) or you got yourself killed by Corruption as they had HP around 300 so don't face them, there are Enemy Radar located at the corner of the screen, all you need to do is avoiding those white dots while you find your way to the Treasure Chest at the corner of the map which is located near the northwest, this place are pretty much empty so it's should be easy to avoid those white dots since you probably move faster than them (hold shift to dash) and there's not much obstacles like walls that hindering your movement, once you get the chest run straight back to the entrance, it's true you can get this later once your level are around 10 or just skip it altogether but for battle hardened Lexar, it's better to get it early as you can access Merchant Guild with it.
Head back to Tsugi City and by now you should notice your HP keep going down despite not doing battle, no it's not bug nor your sword eating you up, it's just that when you move around from world map (long distance travel) will drain your stamina a bit so don't worry about it, if you have the Green Bag then go to complete the quest by returning it to the Cute Girl located at the INN and you will be rewarded based on the choice you made, the best choice is for the accessory White Mask which has [Null Blind] on it, next if you have Merchant Chest you can go to Merchant Guild and trade some Rp for Pp you can cancel as much as you want to get the lowest exchange rate possible (like when you haggle...) and after that head back to entrance but don't just leave the city instead head east from there until you hit another wall and then head north and you will see a single soldier blocked an entrance, if you have at least 1 Pp you can give it to him and makes him blind so you can sneak inside (sorry children, this is a bribery so don't copy, kids!) to the Mine Entrance, take the Pickaxe lying at the entrance before entering the Satu Mine, at Satu Mine there are Miner and Guards, you can ignore miners but not Guards as they are ordered to kill anyone suspicious regardless human rights inside the Mine so if you get too close to the Guards they will chase you and if they caught you, you are forced to fight them in a battle which you can't escape, should you defeated by them then it's game over, the Guards level are around 10 just like assassins, don't face them for now and instead avoid them, they only chase you when you're near them so when you reach certain distance they will stop chasing you and stay where they are, their movement are not that fast too so it's should be doable to avoid them, so what we're looking for this time? what a silly question, you're in a mine so of course to mine some ores! use your pickaxe on those rocks to mine the Iron Ore, you can mine as much as you want and should you had mined all the rocks just reenter the map and they will be there again just don't get out from the Mine Site back to Tsugi City as you need to bribe the guard again each time you enter the Mine Site, after you get enough iron ore (you should get at least 10) head to INN to recover your HP in case it's too low for action, as well as buy some supplies before you depart to Primo Woods.
At the Primo Woods use Saw to clear the obstacle and gather some woods from the trees just like how you mine iron ore, you may face Lv2 enemies but they aren't big deal as long as you know what you're doing also if the battle took too long the boss may assist? you with a Shine Light that inflicting Blind that can't be blocked with [Null Blind], from the entrance head straight to east as you gather the woods and then there are intersection that lead to the north, head to one on the right first for some item chests and then head back to the intersection and pick the left, just follow the path and open the red chest which contain wood shield, at the end of the path you will be at the center of the woods where there is a switch there, pull it and head back to the entrance and pick the path that lead to north this time, just follow the path until you come across an entrance, head inside for the chests, after that head back to entrance and go back to Tsugi City, just make sure you have 20 woods or more which supposed to be easy enough to get that many quickly.
At the Tsugi City go straight to the workshop and check the anvil near the entrance with the text Blacksmith Training on it to begin, there will be a small bar on the top of the screen along with the hammer, all you need to do is press down button when the hammer is near the center of the bar, do this to level up your Blacksmith Level by 1, you start at 0 so you can do this about two or three depending on your level since your Blacksmith Level can't be higher than your character Level and make sure to not fail since if you do you will lost your hammer, if you aren't confident you can either save your progress at the save point which located near potion shop or create a duplicate of it at Crafting Table, once you done training you can begin to create Tabar Axe at the anvil with Blacksmith Weapon text over it, by now you should have enough materials if you do following my suggestion, after that you are free to recover at INN if you're wounded or buy supplies if needed, now you are ready to face your first boss, head back to primo woods.
At the Primo Woods you need to pull the switch at the center of the woods again, after that you head back to the path that lead to north but this time you head to east which is no longer blocked (this path originally didn't blocked, it's blocked when the entrance to the room with chests opened and vice versa) by plants, the path are pretty straight forward just make sure to save your progress near the philosopher stone (Save Point) before facing the boss at the end of the path, by now if you do follow my suggestion such as making Tabar which is extremely bothersome, and do the side quest, you should have White Mask and Weapon with [Earth Aspect], equip those before facing the boss, it's true you can reach here even without doing all of those troublesome stuffs but you will understand soon.
The Boss of Primo Woods is a Lv3 Carbuncle, she start battle with [Primo Woods Cover] which allow her to only took 1/4 of non elemental damage and [Resistance (XL)] which boost her ailments resistance by around 40% and when her HP below half she also gain additional buffs such as [Damage Cut][Frenzy][Ward of Undying][Magic Reflect], she also attack with Ruby Blast which dealt Light Magic Damage with high chance of inflicting Blind, Ruby Missile which dealt Earth Magic Damage four times, and Ruby Light??? which deal no damage but inflicting Slow, Blind, and Silence, other than those she has physical attack which she uses often when her abilities are on cool down, to defeat her are breeze if you do follow my advice, of course you can also defeat her without it but you are likely waste turns or struggle a lot for it, first thing first her [Primo Woods Cover] will be negated so long you have Elemental Weapon, which is why I suggest you to go all that trouble to make Tabar Axe, of course you can use other instant method such as consuming Magic Scrolls that grant you Elemental Saber but you will have to waste a turn to use it not to mention the duration, by this much you can tell making Magic Weapon which it's elemental last forever are better than stocking Magic Scrolls, sure you can ignore [Primo Woods Cover] but you will have to take your time as your damage are reduced by 75% which mean a lot, next is her Blinding attack Ruby Light, this is why you have to equip White Mask which grant you [Null Blind] hence protect you from Blind, it's true you can use Eye Drops to cure Blind but why bother wasting turns just to cure it if you can just blocked it altogether, next is Ruby Light??? which deal no damage but inflicting you with Blind, Slow, and Silence, Silence are no big deal since you don't even use Magic and we already taken care of Blind but not Slow, this attack has long charge animation (LV4 Charge colored with orange) compared to her Ruby Blast so you can notice when she would use this, if you Guard yourself right before she use this on you, you will pretty much Evaded it, since there are no cure for Slow and as it's name Slow really slow down your action so it's the best to Guard whenever she charged (estimated to be around 2 turn) this move unless you have a mean to block Slow like wear equipment with additional [Null Slow] or [QuickSilver] effect but it's not worth the trouble as she rarely used it and it's pretty much avoidable with Guard but then again most of her attack are SMASH type so if you don't wear Light Armor you are likely inflicted with Break which render you unable to Guard, if you are prepared then it's would be a breeze as all you need to do is attacking her with basic attack or Devil's Cut for more damage, use recovery item when you're low on HP and Guard when she about to unleash her long charge attack, her stats are rather low so it wouldn't take long before you defeated her.
After you defeated her, she will join your party and new area Mizu City will be unlocked as you leave the forest from the exit which just behind her, at the world map don't just head to Mizu City right away instead head back to Tsugi City and introduce your new friend to Mai (your self proclaimed GF) at the Magic Guild to (irk her) trigger hidden flag, while at Tsugi City head to Library and let Karen read books there to learn some skills once you done with everything make sure to save your progress before you depart for Mizu City.
