Resuming from Holy Kingdom Arc...
๐️ Tsugi City Season 2 (The beginning of Heroine)
๐น Re-Recruiting Dauna
Don’t talk to Mai immediately!
Go to the PUB, 2nd floor – if Dauna is present (only if you hired her earlier and haven’t talked to Mai yet):
Give her 100K to rejoin.
Lexar will Class Up and his Max SP increases as well.
๐น Talking to Mai
Speak with Mai after recruiting Dauna.
Avoid "Lone Wolf Mode" – triggers a Short Bad End.
Don’t choose “Friend” when prompted – leads to a Bad End.
After the scene:
Mai joins the party.
You receive some food items.
Mai learns skills by leveling, so no library required.
Her default gear is weak, so upgrade her equipment.
Recommended magic: Purification, Cure Wounds, etc.
---
๐ฏ Fox Ruin Dungeon (Enemy Base)
๐น Surface Area
Assassin mobs (Lv 23) patrol the area – avoid or fight them.
๐น Underground Base (Dungeon)
Dark maze full of traps and assassins.
No random encounters, but enemy patrols are active.
The 3rd assassin can spawn as an Evil Spirit.
To avoid this:
Defeat all enemies at once, or
Kill the Evil Spirit host last.
To hunt Evil Spirits:
Kill host first, then finish the rest before it escapes.
Mimic chests are present but mostly defensive.
Goal: Find and press several red switches to disable laser barriers.
Bring candles or use Magic Continual Light to increase the visibility range due to Dark Dungeon effect.
Loot:
Black Blueprints, Codex, etc.
๐น Boss: Enhanced Mech Unit
Fought by Otama + Main Character + Optional.
Very tank-like, low DPS, but:
20 NDP at start.
Resistant to all elements except Earth.
High resistance to ailments (Poison, Bleed, etc.).
Can revive twice:
1st: 50% HP.
2nd: Full HP.
Gains [Devilish] once when HP drops to 50%.
Strategy: Be patient, outlast it with healing, and chip through its defenses.
---
๐️ Post-Boss Events at Tsugi
๐น Meeting Goldrak
Visit PUB in Lone Wolf Mode.
Goldrak will reveal Rune’s location.
Scene transition to Lost Woods.
๐น Dauna Chest Event
If Dauna chased Kanu earlier:
She’ll give you a chest with magic books (sometimes money).
---
๐ Optional Power-Up Activities
๐น Grind & Optional Bosses
If EXP is low (due to Fox Ruin's no-encounter design), consider:
Fighting Megazipit Challenge for EXP boost.
Use Dauna’s Gigaflare or Mai’s CO-OP Phantom Rider for fast kill bosses.
Tackle optional bosses:
Grock, Kraken, Basilisk, etc.
These drop key items for Bond Events (essential for class-up progression).
> ๐ Note: Bond Events and Class Up requirements from side bosses will be covered separately, as they are not part of the main story path.
---

Tobi Lake & Water Temple Guide
๐ Tobi Lake - Boss Battle: Undine
Before proceeding, you may want to bring items like Breakers, Lockpicks, etc. as you did in Lost Woods. Also ensure your party is combat-ready.
- Equip Leviathan Armor (essential) on your tank, preferably Rirurira, who can protect the entire party.
- Undine (Lv. 65) is much stronger than previous spirits. She absorbs Water and is weak to Earth, not Thunder.
Undine's Mechanics:
- Clones: Up to 7 clones will appear over time. You must defeat all clones to damage the main body.
- Skills:
- Water Prison: Traps and damage HP (5% per turn); deals bonus damage upon breaking free.
- Slime Spike: Absorbs HP (not Water-element).
- Reflective Water: Reflects 30% of all damage taken.
Strategy Summary:
- Summon Gnome: To apply Earth Saber and increase defense.
- Use AoE Earth Attacks to deal with clones quickly.
- Do NOT use Karen's Ruby Light against Undine. Although it reflects spells, reflected Water attacks will heal Undine.
Character Breakdown:
- Rirurira: Ideal tank. Leviathan Armor makes her nearly immune to damage, but beware Water Prison.
- Rosen: Iron Blood ignores Damage Reflect effects, making her very effective DPS.
- Mira: Great choice. She can use Earth attacks, dispel Reflective Water, and support/buff allies.
- Mai: Versatile support. Can heal, revive, or cast damage spells. Keep her protected.
- You: Use Thunder's Thrust (first turn), summon Gnome, then Earth-based skills.
- Sphinx: Less effective due to her single-target focus.
- Dauna: Not optimal, since clones spawn gradually, limiting AoE potential.
- Karen: Avoid using Ruby Light in this fight unless carefully managed.
Victory Rewards:
- Gain Undine as a summon. Her buff increases evasion dramatically, even dodging thrown potions?!, but drains SP per turn and prevents SP gain from basic attacks, the effects automatically removed when there's no SP or SP is 0.
- If you have Blueprint Tirta (from Undine's defeat), check the small red chest near the bridge for Blueprint Silu.
๐ Water Temple (Underwater Dungeon)
Underwater Combat Note:
- Taking damage has a 50% chance to break Aqua Breath Bubble, causing "drowning" status:
- Lose 2% HP/turn
- -5% Hit, Crit, and Evasion
- You receive harsher penalties since you can't swim unless Undine is summoned.
Floor 1 - Switch Mechanism:
- Simple layout: flip switches to open doors and unlock stairs.
- Prepare for a mid-boss before proceeding to next floor.
Mid-Boss:
- Weak to Thunder
- Easy to defeat with any good strategy
Exploration:
- Use Rirurira to push crystal blocks.
- Expect frequent backtracking to activate switches.
๐ฅ Final Boss - Serena (Water Spirit)
- Shares traits with Kara:
- 9999 damage cap
- Her Actual HP is Unknown.
- Weak to Thunder, resists Wind, Earth, and absorbs Water
Serena's Modes:
- COM: Physical skills
- RAV: Magical attacks
- SAB: Debuffs (e.g., Chaotic Vector)
- SEN: Defense stance, possible counters
- SYN: Buffs like Haste, Luck Boost
Team Setup:
- You:
- Start with Thunder's Thrust, build SP, then use Devil Cut, Sword Dance, or Earth Breaker
- Avoid summoning unless using Thunder Saber
- Karin (mandatory):
- Blitz → Flame Saber → Burning Horn combo
- Sphinx (optional):
- Use Curse to block Serena's healing
- Swap between magic/physical to trigger Dual Attack buff
- Mirage → Skill → Curse → Skill → Glega, etc.
- Optional: Use Runic Spell to cancel Serena's magic
Eye Skill:
- Unlocks "Time Rewind" (resets turn count but retains status). Useful for retrying early-turn moves like Thunder's Thrust or delaying boss actions.
Post-Battle:
- After Serena falls, cutscenes will trigger and you’ll be transported to the next area (a hot region).
๐ Krakatoa Volcano & Salamander Trial Guide
๐ฅ Entrance: Red Dragon Duel
- At the entrance of Krakatoa Volcano, a Red Dragon blocks your path. Speak to it to trigger a 1v1 duel against Karin.
- Strategy:
- Use any elemental attacks except Fire.
- Buff Karin’s ATK beforehand—this is essential.
- The Dragon will evade attacks a few times, triggering Karin’s Coward's Punishment passive, likely to introduce her hidden mechanic.
- This fight is more of a showcase of Karin's unique ability than a difficult challenge.
๐ Dungeon Overview
- Once the Dragon is defeated, you can enter Krakatoa.
- This is one of the most challenging dungeons so far. Notable hazards:
- ๐ธ Invisible fire traps: Cannot be disarmed and only visible when near. Memorize their positions or proceed cautiously.
- ๐ธ Ignition Status: All party members start battles burning until Salamander joins. Bring fire resistance gear if possible.
- ๐ธ Undead enemies: Immune to normal death, so use magic and skills to finish them.
- Tip: Karen and Sphinx can recover MP on kill, so manage resource drain this way.
๐ Route to Salamander (Trial Boss)
- From entrance:
- Take stairs to B1 → head west and down to B3.
- Before talking to Salamander, prepare thoroughly—this is the hardest spirit trial.
๐ฅ Salamander Trial (B3)
- Element: Fire (absorbs Fire; weak to Water)
- Opener: Casts Flames of Rebirth at the start:
- Grants her infinite revives with full HP.
- To win: Do not overkill her. Instead:
- Chip her HP slowly.
- Watch for Fire Soul to expire.
- Once it ends, deliver the final blow.
- She has low defense but high damage output.
- Use Water-element attacks for best results.
- Optional Objective:
- Steal her Sexy Bikini, a rare item that can be reforged. Beware—there are trap bombs during the steal attempt.
๐ฅ Post-Battle Rewards
- Salamander joins as a summonable spirit.
- Behind her: Loot several chests, including:
- Redra Armor (absorbs Fire)
- Small Red Chest containing Blueprint Guntur (only appears if you got Blueprint Agni from Salamander)
๐ Path to Crater Boss
- Return to B1, then go north upstairs to the Crater.
- Face a mid-boss first (Fire-elemental, fairly easy by now).
- Afterward, continue north to the main boss.
๐ [Optional Event: Dauna Departure Warning]
- If Dauna is in your party, this is your last chance to trigger her Bond Event and complete her equipment set.
- After this battle, she will temporarily leave and not return until the World Crisis arc.
- Suggested: Max her bond and finalize her gear if you're completion-focused.
๐ฅ Flareha Boss Battle
- Follows [COM], [SAB], [SYN], [RAV], and [SEN] paradigm modes, like Kara and Serena.
- Element: Absorbs Fire, weak to Ice. Damage capped at 9999 per hit.
- Partner: You are paired with Rirurira.
- Equip Redra Armor on her—it's nearly required to survive the battle.
- Rirurira's role is to cover the party from massive AoE fire damage.
- Flareha’s Deadly Moves:
- Meteor Blow: 9-hit barrage, 1000+ damage per strike.
- Megaflare (as a giant red dragon): Over 10k damage AoE.
- You gain the Nefiri ability "King of Undead", allowing you to revive multiple times until the buff ends—but it’s not a guaranteed win condition.
- Strategy:
- Let Rirurira tank while you slowly chip Flareha’s HP.
- Survive the random difficulty spikes—some runs are easy, others brutal depending on her attack patterns.
๐️ Post-Battle: Class Promotion
- After defeating Flareha:
- Your class is upgraded to Paladin (or True Hero → Paladin).
- Max SP increases to 15.
- You’re taken back to Zukaru City for a series of story scenes.
- Once complete:
- Ovale Valley is unlocked.
- You can recruit Dauna for the final time at Dadakan, assuming you've fulfilled her bond requirements.
๐ Ovale Valley Prep & Exploration Guide
Before heading into the Ovale Valley, here are a few important things you should do to make the journey smoother:
✅ Pre-Trip Checklist
-
Accept Sub-Quests from the Hunter at Zukaru Castle.
-
Recruit Dauna (optional but helpful):
- Requirements:
- Go on a date with Mai in Maduin.
- Eavesdrop on Cecilia’s monologue when first arriving at Zukaru City.
- Previously recruited Dauna (paid 100K).
- Have 200K on hand.
- Once done, visit Dadakan Inn to trigger her event and recruit her.
- Requirements:
-
Complete the Tsugi Inn Sub-Quest:
- Talk to the Cute Girl who lost her bag (available after defeating Serena).
- Reward: Burning Blueprint (requires Blacksmith Lv. 40 to craft).
- This blueprint allows you to forge one of the strongest Fire-element swords, perfect for the upcoming boss.
๐ Ovale Valley Overview
-
Main enemy: Lv.40 S. Gunner
- Ranged DPS, low defense — vulnerable to quick strikes like Thunder’s Thrust or Explosion Stab.
- Can self-sacrifice to summon the Burner, so take them down fast.
- May use gas grenades (causes Blind). Stock up on Eye Drops or Blind-resistant gear.
- Their Opening Pierce attack is negligible unless you’re using BP/NDP.
-
Map Design:
- Large but linear, similar to Kakao Desert's Cactus Path.
- Blockades can be:
- Broken through directly, or
- Bypassed via cave routes (risky but rewarding).
- Cave Hazards:
- 1st: physical traps.
- 2nd: chasm navigation.
- 3rd: magic traps.
- Rewards: High-tier Magic Tomes (e.g., Tome of Power IV, Tome of Guard IV).
- Cave Hazards:
-
Sub-Quest Item Hunt:
- Look for 25 Baskets in outside crates.
- Also check holes for diggable items.
๐ฆ Boss: Phionex – Ice Elemental Bird
-
Element: Ice (absorbs Ice, weak to Fire).
-
Flying: Ground attacks are ineffective unless you force it down.
-
Stats:
- High ATK, MAG, AGI.
- Very low HP, DEF, MDF — glass cannon type.
-
Attacks:
- Ice & Wind magic.
- Beak Strike (inflicts Slow + Petrify).
- Can revive itself, similar to the Battle Tank boss.
-
Strategy:
- Use Rirurira as tank (natural Ice resistance). Equip Wind-resistant gear (e.g., Primo Dress).
- DPS suggestion: Fire-element physical attacker (e.g., Karin).
- Optional all-DPS strategy possible, but risky unless your team can outspeed Phionex.
๐ฟ Post-Boss Event
- Behind the boss aren lies an Elf statue.
- Use Miracle Fluid to free her.
- Rewards: Blueprint Holy and a new Sub-Quest to hunt another boss in the next area.
๐งบ Final Checklist Before Leaving
- Ensure you’ve collected all 25 Baskets.
- Use the northeastern stairs to exit and unlock the next region.
๐ Final Class Up Info
- By now, your party should be around Level 40+, unlocking Final Class Up (if their Key Items/Bond Events are complete).
- Class Up grants access to each character’s Ultimate Attack:
- Costs 15 SP.
- Large AoE damage
- Learned immediately after Class Up.
- Recommended to Class Up ASAP as leveling quickly via River of Time Bosses will no longer available after the fateful night event.
๐ฒ Flora Exploration Guide: Swarms, Sub-Bosses & EXP Prep
Flora is a transitional zone packed with swarming enemies and valuable loot — it may not have a required boss, but it's a key place for setting up your next steps.
๐งญ Area Overview
- Flora is a forest-heavy wasteland, visually similar to Fox Village Ruins, but with more environmental clutter and random object placements.
- No main boss here.
- Your objective: Loot everything you can and head northeast to exit the area.
⚠️ Enemies & Combat Tips
- The map is filled with small fry mobs — not dangerous individually but overwhelming in numbers.
- Recommended Party Setup:
- Bring someone with fast AoE attacks to clear enemy groups quickly.
- Watch out for buried Mimics — they can ambush and delay you.
๐ง♂️ Sub-Quest Boss: Broken Souls
- Only appears if you accepted the quest from the Petrified Elf in the previous area (after Phionex).
- This boss roams the map and will engage once it gets close.
- Type: Undead
- Weakness: Light
- Difficulty: Low to Moderate
- Unique moves, but nothing lethal by this stage.
- Reward: Exp Rune
- Extremely valuable for balancing party levels or power-leveling late-game recruits.
๐ About the Exp Rune
- Store EXP into the rune from higher-leveled characters.
- Later in the game, two new characters will join:
- They start at First Class (low-level).
- When they Class Up, their level may go down.
- You won’t have map access later so finding enemies with similar LV will be difficult, so preparing EXP now is critical.
๐ Dauna Departure Note
- If Dauna is in your party:
- This is where she temporarily leaves your team.
- She’ll rejoin much later, so unequip her gear beforehand if needed.
๐งบ Wrap-Up Checklist
- ✅ Cleared mobs with AoE
- ✅ Collected loot across the forest
- ✅ Defeated Broken Souls (if Sub Quest accepted)
- ✅ Stored EXP in the Rune for late-game allies
- ✅ Prepared for Dauna’s temporary departure
- ✅ Exit via the northern path to unlock the next area
๐ Fateful Night Arc – Final Preparations & Point of No Return
Welcome to Heltaruna, the eerie? city of monsters. This arc marks the beginning of your descent into the game's final sequence — and one misstep could lead to a premature ending. Read carefully, and prepare wisely.
๐️ Heltaruna: City of Monsters (No Enemies?)
- No enemy encounters here — the entire city is silent.
- Use this time to:
- Collect all items scattered around.
- Explore freely — no combat interruptions.
- Your final destination is the Monster Lord’s Castle, located at the north end of the city.
- Before you enter, Mai will ask for confirmation:
❗ “Are you sure you’re ready? You won’t be able to return once we go in.”
✅ Final Prep Before the Castle (Checklist)
You don’t need to 100% everything, but certain flags are absolutely mandatory to avoid a bad ending.
✔ Optional (But Strongly Recommended)
- Stock up on consumables (heals, cures, revives).
- Farm rare materials: S. Material, D. Orbs, Xstals.
- Clear Guild Quests.
- Forge strong SSR/UR equipment.
- Double-check elemental resistances and build versatile gear sets.
๐จ Mandatory – To Avoid Premature Ending
- Complete ALL Bond Events for:
- Karen, Karin, Otama, Rosen, Mira, Sphinx, Rirurira
- In older versions, you also needed:
- Hidden key items
- Event flags
These are optional in the latest patch — but still give major advantages.
- Most importantly:
- Don’t miss any camping scene flags.
- These are critical character-triggered cutscenes at camp sites.
- Missing them will hinder story resolution and make the Four Devas/Heavenly Knights battle significantly harder — or even unwinnable.
- Don’t miss any camping scene flags.
๐ฐ Entering the Monster Lord’s Castle
- Trigger a scene with the guards at the castle entrance.
- Time skips to 00:00 AM inside the INN — the start of a solo sequence.
๐ 00:00 – Dark Night
- You wake up alone. All allies are asleep.
- This is your last chance to:
- Equip your best loadout.
- Avoid fatal elemental weaknesses (e.g., Leviathan Armor can lead to instant death).
- Balance is key:
- You’re on your own.
- No backup. No revives from allies. No mistakes allowed.
- Once you’re geared up, step outside to begin.
⚔️ Final Warning
This is truly the point of no return. If you haven’t met the proper flags or cleared the bond events, you will lock yourself into a premature ending.
If you’ve done everything, though — you’re ready to face the truth behind this night, and the battle that awaits.
