Perang Cemen

For those who hate long speech and looking for a quick point, Perang Cemen literally means a Coward War.

Perang translated as War while Cemen is a slang word  for Coward, It’s not that humans don’t know what’s wrong, they do.

But:

We turn a blind eye when it’s convenient.

We justify it when it benefits us.

We become numb if it’s not our direct problem.

This isn’t proof that evil is natural. It’s proof that evil is a choice, and often, a cowardly one.

Human by default hate EVIL, the only time they compromise with EVIL is when they do it themselves or when it doesn't concern their well-being.

Therefore Perang Cemen technically means War against Cowardly, War against Evil, or perhaps...

Being a perfectly sane human in this crazy world.

The Legend of the Great ME!

I started my journey in 2012, at the tail end of the PS2 era, completely new to game development. I didn’t know C, C++, or Python, but I had a dream. With the help of a friend, I got my hands on RPG Maker 2k3, and for a year I taught myself how to make games. My very first project was Angel Girl Quest, a simple RPG about a heroine fighting a Monster Lord.

My friends were brutally honest: “It sucks.” They didn’t like the female protagonist, they compared it to big-budget PS2 games, and they didn’t understand my gameplay systems. I could have given up, but I didn’t. I remembered their criticisms, learned from them, and pushed forward.

By 2013, I created Devil Boy Quest (Original), an ambitious ARPG with a shonen-style protagonist. Along the way, I discovered RPG Maker VX Ace and made Ancient Combat, my first game available worldwide. Each project taught me more, about storytelling, design, and perseverance.

But the journey wasn’t easy. I lost nearly everything in 2019, years of work, assets, and fully-debugged game files, because of a cloud server failure. It was devastating. For two years, I stopped making games, lost motivation, and struggled with real-life challenges.

Yet, in 2022, I returned. I rebuilt Ancient Combat and continued my vision. I remade Devil Boy Quest Ultimate, which I completed in 2024. In 2025, I began my latest project, DnD, using RPG Maker MZ, learning JavaScript to create custom systems. The process is slow, and making games is expensive, but my passion has never wavered.

I started my Patreon to share my journey and get support to hire artists and expand the worlds I create. Every contribution helps me bring these games, and their stories, to life. By supporting me, you’re not just helping make games; you’re helping a dream survive against all odds.

I’ve faced setbacks, criticism, and even total loss, but I’ve never given up. And I won’t.
